West Bank’s Shred Day is back! We will be hosting our free, secure Shred Day from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3. We will have a mobile shred unit set up at the West Bank Headquarters located at 3330 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, Iowa 50266.
As a community bank, we are committed to helping and serving our community. One way we do this is by providing a shred day for people to securely dispose of documents containing sensitive personal information.
Generally speaking, you should shred anything that has personal information on it. This includes bank statements, bills, old tax documents, medical documents, and anything else with personally identifying information. Shredding these documents helps protect yourself against identity theft.
After collecting all of your documents that you would like to shred, arrive at the West Bank Headquarters in West Des Moines to unload your shred. We will have employees ready to help you with this process.
When depositing your shred, you do not need to remove staples, paper clips, or rubber bands. Simply unload up to 100 pounds worth of sensitive documents to shred into the provided bins.
Please do not bring the following items to shred: cardboard, plastics, hazardous materials, or computers.
